2 rideable older horses need home

Chesapeake is 21, a morgan/draft, very strong and spirited but also very obedient and a lover. He enjoys his nose kisses daily. Izzy is 20, an arab/apaloosa, a very smooth ride and is a total sweetie. Horses were given to person who abused them and tried to sell them. Owner was able to get them back and is seeking a new, safe, loving home for them.

They do not necessarily need to be retired, owner would like to find a place where they would be enjoyed, well cared for and where they could remain together. Owner rescued them many years ago and they are very bonded with each other and do not like being separated. Owner does not want them to be used for commercial trail rides.

If you or anyone you know would be interested in adopting them, please call Carma in Tucson at 520-743-9924.

2 BLM mustangs need home, 5 & 6 yrs old

Two Mustang geldings, ages 5 and 6 need home. Prefer placing them together. Younger one has had extensive groundwork and has had a saddle on his back (not yet ridden). The other will need additional groundwork as he's still somewhat skittish around people. Please call Tom (520) 751-7744.

Welcome

Welcome to the Arizona Equine Sanctuary & Rescue Network blog. Our goal is to create a resource for sanctuaries, rescues, and owners seeking to re-home animals. Please note: we do not screen or evaluate animals or perspective new homes in any way. This list is simply a resource to connect those needing to find a new home for their animal with someone who is seeking a particular animal. We strongly suggest that participants evaluate the animal, the needs of the animal, the present home, and the perspective new home. In using this blog, please be mindful of the following rules:

- PLEASE have honest and honorable intent. NO KILL BUYERS or people with desire to abuse animals.

- If you receive an animal at low or no cost, please don't resell the animal for a profit.

- If you are an owner, please honestly represent your animal.

- Use of this resource is at your own risk.

There is no cost associated with posting an available animal on this site. As a courtesy we list adoptable equines within Arizona who are available through rescue organizations and private owners. We do request, however, that if you are helped by this site, please send us a donation so we can keep this resource going. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operated totally by volunteers

Thank you!
